Camp Randall Cards

Aside from Ron Dayne, Alan Ameche is the only other Badger to win a Heisman Trophy. He also played in the 1958 NFL Championship Game, also known as “The Greatest Game Ever Played”, when he scored the winning touchdown to lead the Colts to victory over the Giants. He died relatively young, before signed cards were as big of a deal as they became in the 90’s onwards, and before getting vintage cards signed was considered anything other than defacing the card. As such, he has virtually no signed cards out there. I found this one from a seller at the 2024 National, and to my knowledge it is one of a single digit number of slabbed Ameche autos.
