Camp Randall Cards

When I find myself on a road trip, I always try to stop by any local card shop that I can find. In the spring of 2024, I was driving from Madison to Chicago to see a Shane Gillis show, and I stopped by three different LCSs on the way. At the last one, a bunch of people were excitedly ripping Upper Deck Hockey looking for Conner Bedard Young Guns, but I was excitedly looking at the high end football card case. They had this on-card dual auto of arch rivals Brett Favre and Troy Aikman, which spoke to me as a Packer fan who grew up in the 90’s. I remember being at Lambeau for the game where we finally beat the Cowboys; it was one of my best non-Super Bowl sports memories as a kid. This card is from 2000, but it still captures that nostalgia.
