After meeting Bill Simmons at the 2025 National, I became very motivated to figure out how to get a signed Simmons card. While he is an avid collector and was even on the board of Topps, he has never allowed Topps to make an Allen & Ginter card for him, and the only things he seems to sign are his books. Given this, I commissioned Reclaim Custom Cards to take one of those signatures from a book, cut it, and include it in a card. They also used a (slightly AI-enhanced) photo of the photo I took with Bill on the back of the card, which I think looks great!
