I’ve been continuing to track down autos of some of the most important figures from the early days of football. I jumped at the opportunity to buy a Pop Warner cut auto from the same set as my Jim Thorpe Cut Auto, which is especially cool since Pop was Jim’s first football coaches.
In addition to that cut auto, I’ve picked up several other very cool autos from the same timer period recently: A Grantland Rice signed index card, another Pop Warner cut auto, and a Walter Camp handwriting swatch (it’s not clear if it’s part of his signature or not, and his signatures are extremely hard to find).
